So pleased with recent work completed by AMS. Suspected Tiptronic failure on my Boxster (incorrectly diagnosed elsewhere) turned out to be only a switch (and the team were able to diagnose that as the likely problem from my very non-technical description of the issue). The team at AMS were really friendly and helpful and made me feel like a valued customer, even though my Tiptronic 986 is right at the bottom of the Porsche foodchain. After being charged nearly £4k I was returned a car with an issue it didn’t have when I dropped it off. Not only did they not fix the issue they thought it was entirely acceptable to return it to me in that condition. On returning the car after an additional fault arose due to their “workmanship” they charged me a further £300 to fix it. I was delighted to find AMS who carried out a major service and repair to my 17 year old 997 (owned since new). Great job and great people. Angus introduced someone who wanted to buy my car and then handled everything smoothly on my behalf. Replaced all 4 break disks and new pads on my 981. Fantastic service from start to finish. Car drives like new, and the squeaky breaks that was driving me mad are no more! AMS also helped me out a few years back when a water ingress issue meant all the carpets /interior had to come out and hang out to dry. Definitively not the easiest to accommodate as that foam material took ages and ages to dry. Thankful for the help then and AMS and Angus has been fantastic to deal with since.
